Yesterday we started our new Unit of Inquiry: Light and Dark.
To get the children thinking about the differences between Day and Night, the teachers changed into their Pyjamas while the children were in the garden and when they came in they found us " sleeping " on the carpet! The children thought this was very funny and strange! As we hoped this started a group discussion about all the different things we do in the day time and at night time. But also some things that we want to know and learn about.
