Dear Parents,
We are now into the second week of school and the children are feeling more settled and getting to know our new routines! This blog will be used for all 3 Kindergartens throughout the school year! We will upload photos, videos and information about what the children are doing and or what we will be doing.
Today we have started our first Unit of Inquiry- Nursery Rhymes. Not only will we be learning various Nursery Rhymes we will be looking at rhythm and rhyme in other areas too!
For the first week Kinder JL will be learning about Humpty Dumpty, Kinder A Baa Baa Black Sheep and Kinder B Insey Wincy Spider.
To start off our Unit of Inquiry, we had a very special guest come to visit today! Ms. Josie came and performed a beautiful Flamenco dance for the children- showing us how rhythm can be used in dance too.
