Dear Parents,
We would like to welcome you to Kindergarten this year! We are excited to meet you all and start our new learning journey with your children. The children will be very busy this year and their curious minds will take us all on many new and exciting adventures! Hold on tight it's going to be an amazing ride!

Here are a few notes to help you start the school year:
Our school day starts at 8:45am
and children should be accompanied downstairs to their classrooms or the E.C.
garden. There is a different teacher on duty every morning from 8:00am to
welcome the EC children. Weather permitting, this teacher will be waiting in
the EC garden or if it is raining, in their classroom: the list of who is on
duty will be posted on the door at the start of the corridor. If your child
enters the building after 9:30, please check in at the reception in the atrium.
Playing in the garden with his or her friends is an important start to your
child’s day, so we ask you to please be on time.
The school provides a morning
snack of fresh fruit.
For the start of the school year
the children will need:
1. An art smock or big, old shirt
/ t-shirt for art lessons and messy activities.
2. A bag with COMPLETE change of
clothes. Please make sure that each item
is clearly labeled. You can find good easy to apply labels at http://www.easy2name.com
3. A lunchbox or small rucksack
with you child’s name clearly written on it. We recommend you send in a small
healthy snack for your child to eat in the afternoon.
4. Please bring in 2 packs of
tissues and 2 packs of wet wipes
Please dress your child in
comfortable clothing that is easy for him or her to take on and off
independently.
Remember to check the daily
schedule so that your child is properly dressed (gym shoes, comfortable
clothes) for P.E.
