Eugenia's Dad comes to visit Kinder A… with a friend!
Kinder A's World of Work Unit is off to a good start with Eugenia's dad's visit with their dog, Elena. We learned that Eugenia's dad's job is a veterinarian and he rescues and treats animals who are sick.We learned that Elena's teeth are the same size as a lion's teeth and that she eats chicken, rice, and vegetables three times a day. A big thanks to Eugenia, Daniele and their dog, Elena!

What's up next?
Our Journey has come to an end and the children are busy packing their suitcases for their chosen trip for our summative assessment! The children are thinking about, the weather, how to get there, how long they will be staying and what kinds of clothes to bring. The beautiful suitcases they made in Art Class with Ms Chiara will be coming home this week and they are filled with all kinds of things. Please take some time to sit with your children and look at all the wonderful things they have been doing!
Our next Unit of Inquiry:
HOW WE ORGANIZE OURSELVES
THE WORLD OF WORK
Central idea:
People play different roles in the communities to which they belong.
An Inquiry into:
Roles of people who are part of our communities
How communities are organized
Rules and responsibilities in a community
Questions which we will be thinking about while Inquiring into The World of Work are:
- What is a community?
- What is a job?
- Why do people have jobs?
- What jobs interest you?
If you haven't done so already, please send in the permission form ASAP so that we can get out and about around the community here at school!
Have a wonderful day
The Kinder Team
